About the artist
Rigo Carrasco is originally from the state of Michoacán.
From an early age he was always involved in the artistic environment.
In the early 1990s, he moved to the USA where he studied at the Houston Art Institute.
He returned to Mexico in 2000, quickly becoming involved in the local art scene and teaching courses and workshops, such as at the El Centenario Museum, to name a few.
To date he still resides in Monterrey, NL.
He is currently still active, working on both collective and solo exhibitions and giving painting workshops in his own studio.
